Faith, Friends and Farm. That's what campers have learned to expect and love about summer camp at Marmon Valley Farm. Faith formation is central to the purpose of our summer programs! Activities and relationships provide the backdrop for opportunities to disciple young people and lead them to the savoir, Jesus Christ in a real and personal way. One on one interaction with caring staff as well as structured Bible lessons and devotional opportunities help campers to grow in their Christian faith and learn to seek the Lord joyously.

The horses are the greatest attraction for many campers! Through the Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA) we offer an exciting and safe horse program for boys and girls of all ages. Each camper is assigned to his own horse or pony for the week. Every morning is divided into four sessions: Grooming & Saddling, Arena Riding, Trail Riding and Theory taught with a good mixture of fun and education by trained instructors. Campers are evaluated at the end of the week with a riding and written (or oral) evaluation.  Successful completion of the evaluations will result in campers advancing to the nest level of horsemanship.  Please take note that many levels require more than on week of camp to complete for most campers.  While we are interested in helping campers become better riders, we are always more interested in the camper personally than their riding level!

A variety of camps are offered in our nine week summer. The Original Horse Camp is our time tested favorite for nearly 50 years now.  And now many specialty camps await adventurous young people looking to specialize their interests. Check out the options from this summer!
