What is the Adopt A Horse Program?

Marmon Valley Farm has created an Adopt A Horse program for horse lovers like you. To help defray feed costs, and to involve young people and adults in the lives of the horses here at the Farm, we are looking for people to sponsor our horses. If you are someone who loves horses and loves Marmon Valley Farm, this exciting opportunity may be just for you.

Daily, each of our 150 horses eat close to half a bale of hay (25 lbs.). When we put the whole herd together that’s nearly 75 bales of hay a day! This can really add up in one year.  Your participation in Adopt A Horse will help!

How Can I Adopt A Horse?

You, your family, your youth group, scout troop or church can participate. Simply select a horse, you can choose the horse or horses that you would like to adopt, and select the sponsorship level of your choice, quarter year, half year or full year.

Benefits of Adopting A Horse

1. Participation in the ministry of Marmon Valley Farm by providing support for horse care.

2. Enjoy coupons for 8 free trail rides on your adopted horse!.  Reservation is required. (Not all horses at MVF are suitable for general trail ride use.  In that case a substitute will be used).

3. Learn more about Marmon Valley Farm’s horses, and general information regarding horses.

4. Receive a photo of the horse you adopt.

5. You choose the horse you want to adopt.
