Horseback Riding

With over 150 well trained horses and ponies, horseback riding is our specialty!  For 50 years Marmon Valley Farm has been providing safe horseback riding experiences for guests of all ages.  The riding stable is open year 'round Tuesday through Sunday.  Contact the office at 937-593-8000 to schedule your next riding experience.  We recommend all horseback riders wear long pants and a covered shoe.  Helmet rental is available free of charge.  Open Year Round.

Trail Rides - Enjoy the scenic countryside of Logan County from the back of a well trained trail horse or sign up for horseback riding lessons. Our guided trail rides will take you into the hilly woods surrounding the Farm for a memorable trail ride. Trail riders must be 6 or older. For your protection we provide friendly and helpful trail guides on all rides, and we do not permit double riding with youngsters. Riders under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
Pony Rides - Pony rides are available for children ages two and up. Parents (or accompanying adult) will be instructed on how to lead the pony for the child.
Riding Lessons - Marmon Valley Farm offers group riding lesson programs every season as well as private lessons. Winter lessons are offered beginning in January in our indoor riding arena. Spring, summer and fall lessons are usually outside weather permitting. Lessons are available for kids 6 years old through adults.
Adopt-a-Horse - The Adopt-a-Horse program is a frequent rider program for folks who have a favorite horse at Marmon Valley. The package allows the participant to enjoy riding and grooming the horse without all the responsibilities of ownership!
